【Abstract】 Grain boundary internal friction is a research field developed by the Chinese scientist Ge Ting-Sui (T. S. Kê). Previous investigations were mainly performed with polycrystals, but recently we have studied the internal friction of a single boundary by using bicrystals with different misorientations, and some new results have been obtained.
