中美礼貌拒绝策略对比研究

【摘要】 拒绝是人们在生活交往中经常遇到的一种言语行为,它涉及到社会,文化以及心理层面。本文对美国和中国的拒绝策略使用情况进行了对比研究。通过问卷调查和对比分析,发现中国人和美国人使用不同的惯用表达式,采用的拒绝策略也存在一定的差异。这些差异都与中美两国人们具有不同的文化背景以及思维习惯有关。因此,要想进行有效的跨文化交际,我们就必须熟悉交际双方的礼貌原则,并恰当地运用到实际交际场合。更多还原

【Abstract】 The act of refusal is very common in people’s daily life and it involves many of the complex social and cultural as well as psychological issues. This paper is to make a cross-linguistic comparison between Chinese and English in realizing the speech act of refusals. It is shown from the study that there really exists use of language variation which is reflected by politeness refusal strategy in Chinese and American. The factors due to these differences are various,with the combination of historical,cultural and social factors. So people need to know very well the politeness principles to make effective cross-cultural communication.更多还原
