【摘要】 为应对信息技术对教育的冲击,也为竞争全球e-learnling市场,英国政府于2000年提出了UKeU (UK e-University,即英国网上大学)计划。本文在介绍UKeU计划运作流程、基本结构的基础上,根据英国国会下议院的调查报告综述了其失败原因以及能吸取的经验和教训。

【Abstract】 In order to develop the global e-learning market and integrate ICT into education,the UK government put forward UK e-University Plan(UKeU)which aimed to deliver higher education to the world through Internet. This article introduces the implementation process and structure of UKeU,and summarizes the reasons of its failure and lessong.
