【Abstract】 Insulin-like growth factor-I(IGF-I) is an important regulator of growth,development,metatabolism,and is the primary mediator of the growth-promoting activity of growth hormone(GH) in mammals.The primary source of IGF-I is the liver,from which IGF-I is released into the blood and acts in an endocrine mode on other tissues.IGF-I is also synthesized in many extrhepatic tissues,where it functions in an autocrine or paracrine manner.IGF-I gene expression is controlled by many factors.This article reviewed the latest research progress of expression and regulation of the pig IGF-I gene.更多还原
