【Abstract】 By analyzing the consciousness of the reader’s rights and the conflicts happened in the reader services in the academic libraries, the paper raised up three basic points for the university reader services under the new situation. They are the renewal of the library manager’s intention, revision of the rules according to the law and the improvement of the comprehensive quality of the librarians.
