【Abstract】 As an important part of language,color words contain distinct cultural connotations and distinctive cultural features and display enormous cultural differences between Chinese and English as well.This essay analyses the connotations and differences of six basic color words——white,black,red,green,yellow and blue.It is comprised of four parts: the first part is a general introduction about the current research situation;the second part analyses the cultural connotations and differences of the six color words both in Chinese culture and in English culture;the third part is the conclusion.更多还原
