【Abstract】 Chinese calligraphy, the cream of the Chinese nation’s culture which has an over-thousand-years-history is of a distinctive aesthetics character. It contains the natural spiritual and aesthetic conceptions and reflects the yearning for the harmony between human beings and nature. The essay aims to expound the aesthetics character and formation of calligraphy, especially the unique glamour, hoping not only to pass on but also develop the old art and the fundamental functions-to educate as a tradition, to enlighten in ethics,to develop intelligence and to appreciate the beauty.
