【Abstract】 Energy saving of exterior-protected structure is an important part of building energy saving. The article gives an analysis on the present situations of exterior-protected struc-ture of rural housing in cold areas, and puts forwards the measures for energy-saving design optimization of exterior-protected structure of rural housing on the basis of local characteristics of rural housing.
