【Abstract】 In Chinese history,three translation climaxes appeared-Sutra translation from East Han Dynasty to Tang & Song Dynasties,science & technology translation in late Ming and early Qing Dynasties and western science translation from the Opium War to the May Fourth Movement.Translation as a cultural phenomenon, or a thinking movement,or a career,or just as a kind of knowledge and skill,whatever it is,it is always closely related to its historical background,and the theory of translation develops with its practice.更多还原
