【Abstract】 Based on the optimization technique,a convenient algorithm for degree reduction of B-Spline curves and surfaces is presented.Multi-degree reduction of B-Spline curve and surface is achieved by solving systems of linear equations.The algorithm complexity and the approximation result of the algorithm are better than conventional algorithms.In the end the existence of solution and the error are analyzed.更多还原
