【Abstract】 The creative use of verses in the process of narration in Chinese vernacular fiction was initiated by The Three Kingdoms.Many of the verses in the novel are of high artistic value,which not only deserve the reader’s attention as components of the novel,but also prove attractive artistically when appreciated alone.Those which built on classical Chinese poetry are particularly successful pieces of art.Other verses are,nevertheless,weaker in their artistic appeal,or even with many defects.更多还原
