【Abstract】 This paper reviewed reproductive events from floral morphology, floral initiation, flowering patterns, and pollination biology to the capacity of parthenocarpy in nonastringent and astringent persimmon. The research focused on mechanisms of seed formation. Abortion was summarized emphatically. The paper also put forward some research prospects for the status in a Chinese persimmon breeding program.更多还原
