【Abstract】 Non-deterministic delay in message transmission is the significant factor affecting the accuracy of time synchronization in wireless sensor networks. Several existing time synchronization protocols are classified and studied. The errors of these different protocols are analyzed in detail based on the decomposition of the message delivery delays.
