【Abstract】 Chinese two-part allegorical sayings belong to an important branch of Chinese idioms.As a special linguistic style in Chinese,its specific structure and rich culture constitute a big challenge to translators.Based on the concepts proposed by Reception Aesthetics such as "horizon of expectation","horizontal reception" and "vertical reception",the author attempts to objectively conduct a descriptive study of translation strategies and translation methods involved in translating the Chinese two-part allegorical sayings.更多还原
