【Abstract】 People pay much attention to the quality of the concrete appearance, but it is worse objective to use artificial methods to evaluate the quality of the concrete appearance. In this article, the writers unified the picture processing and the pattern recognition technology, discussed the new methods based on the picture processing for appraising the quality of the concrete appearance. According to a large number of concrete appearance picture samples, taking a series of work on desalinations, strengthening, texture and different chromaticity processing to the picture, getting the parameter that can reflect the shortcoming of picture’s appearance, using the intelligence system to analyze, that is conveniently and reliable.
