【Abstract】 Defense building is crucial for national modernization and for safeguarding the sovereignty and welfare of the state. The universities directly administrated by the Ministry of Education are important force for R&D of defense in China. These universities have made a major contribution to the development of defense science and technology through their extensive and substantial participation of in defense research and development (R&D). This study investigates the current state, characteristics and strengths of defense-related research in those universities, and explores how the universities can further enhance their role in national defense.更多还原
