【Abstract】 Hybrid electric vehicle, driven by the engine and electromotor, has the virtues of low pollution, high efficiency, and economical performance. Hence, the characteristics of the hybrid electric vehicle are introduced. The fuel saving and exhausting technology of the hybrid electric vehicle are analyzed from the engine structure, control technology, recovering brake energy, and increasing battery SOC windows.
