【Abstract】 The growth of tourism witnessed by Macao in recent years has been largely attributable to the development of the casino industry.Further researches on its potentials to develop the convention and sightseeing sectors,however,are needed to ensure a sustainable growth of its economy.This study provides an exploratory analysis of establishing Macao as a MICE and sightseeing tourism destination in its own right,solicits stakeholder perceptions by means of a survey with the objective of determining the critical attributes that contribute towards building a successful MICE destination and Macao’s performance indicators visà-vis these attributes.The analysis also provides pointers towards identifying critical gaps that Macao needs to address in order to position itself as a competitive MICE destination.更多还原
