【摘要】 组播与 MPLS 是两种互补的技术,将二者结合起来,对提高网络性能、解决组播的可扩展性问题及控制开销等有着深远的意义。本文首先简要介绍了 MPLS 和组播的基本原理及优点,接着概括了 MPLS 网络环境下组播技术应用及实现技术,最后讨论了发展趋势和进一步研究的方向。

【Abstract】 Multicast and MPLS are two complementary technologies.Merging these two technologies will enhance per- formance and present an efficient solution for multicast scalability and control overhead problems.The paper first intro- duces the principle and advantages of MPLS and multicast,and surveys the multicast application and implementation o- ver the MPLS networks.Finally,the trends and several issues for more research are presented.
