语言递归性与语言相对论

【摘要】 语言递归性是生成语法在当前生物语言学背景下研究的热点。唯递归性假设认为人类狭义语言机能(FLN)的独特属性是递归性的运算机制。语言多样性的成因只能到词库和语言接口处寻找踪迹。语言相对论以预设语言的多样性为前提,认为语言影响或制约人的思维模式,但就具体是语言的哪些方面影响人的思维模式并没有做出回答。本文阐述了语言递归性视野下的语言相对论,认为生成语法对纷繁的语言现象剥离得越透彻,语言变异的成分就显露得越明显,语言相对论的成因就越容易定位。更多还原

【Abstract】 Linguistic recursion becomes the focus of Generative Grammar research in the context of bio-linguistics. The recursion-only hypothesis holds that recursion is the only unique part of FLN, which provides an answer to the question of what are the factors that have caused the language variation. Linguistic relativism claims that language influences or constrains human thinking, but that what aspects of language influence our thinking remains unanswered. This thesis discusses the linguistic relativity from the perspective of recursiveness and concludes that the more thoroughly Generative Grammar investigates the complicated language phenomenon, the more likely it is to locate the cause of linguistic relativity.更多还原
