【Abstract】 Many verses in the Book of Songs mentioned birds.Most names of the birds are quite different from that of the today’s one because of the ages changing.In order to link up ancient and modern,our country and others,and to have readers appreciate the verses better,we have verified all the names of the birds appeared in the Book of Songs by the methods of connection of "Xunguxue" and modern zoology.The birds can be classified into 42 species that belong to 22 families of 10orders.更多还原
