【Abstract】 Van Manen possesses prolific academic thought in the research field of phenomenology in education.His research themes are original and his unique research methods are good enough to serve as the models of qualitative research in methodology. This article conducts a multi-dimensional analysis to Van Manen’s phenomenological research in education,illustrating its historical origin,purport of research,major themes,and making two-side comments on it in expectation of wholly grasping the traits of Van Manen’s phenomenological research in education.It will contribute thrusts of praxis to educational practitioners embarking on qualitative research.更多还原
