磁场中TbFe1.9晶体生长的取向控制
Orientation Control of Crystal Growth for TbFe1.9Alloy in a Magnetic Field
【摘要】 初步研究了磁致伸缩材料TbFe1.9合金在磁场中凝固的取向控制。结果表明,在与重力平行的120mT磁场中,当Φ16mm的合金熔体的冷却速率为0.7℃/min时,平行于磁场的[111]取向将成为凝固后试样中的择优取向。结合对凝固速率的控制,在远高于居里点的高温熔体中,磁性材料的晶体生长沿易轴的取向可在较弱的磁场中实现。
【Abstract】 The orientation control of magnetostrictive material TbFe1.9 alloy was studied by solidification in a magnetic field of 120 mT along the gravity,and the preferred orientation of [111] direction parallel to the field can be achieved for the melt of Φ16 mm at the cooling rate of 0.7℃/min.The experimental results indicate that the crystal growth can be obtained with the orientation along their easy magnetic axis at a higher temperature far above the Curie point in a relative weak magnetic field by controlling the solidification rate.
