【Abstract】 The newDian-type japonica hybrid rice combination Dianza 33 is derivedfroma DianI type male sterile lineYumi 15Aand a newly developed elite restorer line Diannong R-3 .It is characteristic of strong heterosis ,high yield,good quality and wide adaptability.It was registered and released by the Crop Variety Appraisal Committee of YunnanProvincein October ,2004 .
