【Abstract】 The high growth saving rate and low consumption tendency of household have attracted great attention of academic community as well as policy-maker recently.This paper constructed an utility function based on habit formation,that is,the consumer’s preference not only depends on current consumption,but also on his consumption history.The new utility with havit formation provides a mathematical explanation for the phenomena that the rate of consumption is lower and the rate of saving is higher.更多还原
