缺氧诱导因子在哺乳动物生殖的作用
Roles of hypoxia-inducible factor in mammalian reproduction
【摘要】 哺乳动物可启动许多基因调节体内的氧平衡,而缺氧诱导因子(hypoxia-inducible factor,HIF)是其中的核心因素。HIF广泛存在于动物体内,可调控许多基因的表达参与生理或病理过程。近年来随着基因敲除技术的应用,人们对HIF功能的认识不断深入。本文综述了HIF在哺乳动物的胚胎着床、胎盘形成、胚胎发生以及雄性生殖等过程中的作用。
【Abstract】 There are many genes involved in the regulation of oxygen homeostasis in mammals, and hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) participates in this process as a core mediator. HIF expresses widely in many different kinds of animal tissues as a transcriptional regulator of many genes and so plays roles in some physical and/or pathological processes. The new insights have been provided as the development and application of gene-knockout technology. The functions of HIF during the processes of embryo implantation, placentation, embryogenesis and male reproduction in mammals will be reviewed in this article.
