【Abstract】 Starting from a critical comment on the purely linguistic mode represented by "equivalence", this paper points out, with modern language philosophy as its lead and benefited from achievements of semantics and pragmatics, it is possible to build up a meaning system to sharpen our knowledge of translation studies; further, taking a systematic viewpoint, we are enabled to take up advantageously a semantic-pragmatic approach toward problems in translation practices and enrich our translatological researches.更多还原
