运用溶解度参数理论研究二甲醚与其它燃料、润滑添加剂、聚合物的相容性
Investigation of the Compatibility of Dimethyl Ether with Other Fuels,Lubricity Additives and Polymers by Means of Solubility Parameter Theory
【摘要】 利用溶解度参数理论对二甲醚与其它燃料、润滑添加剂、聚合物的相容性开展了研究。分析了二甲醚与其它材料的相容性热力学机理,归纳了可以有效计算溶液和聚合物溶解度参数的两种方法。计算出饱和二甲醚溶液在常温下(20℃)的溶解度参数为15.01(MPa)1/2。利用这一计算结果可以预测二甲醚与醇类、植物油、柴油等燃料的互溶性,预测结果与试验结果有较好的一致性。研究表明:常温下二甲醚与轻柴油、具有长链的醇类和碳链长度在C15~C22之间的脂肪酸能够互溶,后两者是二甲醚发动机良好的润滑添加剂;并且同等碳链长度的情况下,脂肪酸与二甲醚的互溶性优于长链醇类。聚合物中丁腈橡胶(NBR)和聚苯乙烯(PS)、聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)均能耐二甲醚腐蚀,可以满足二甲醚发动机的使用要求。
【Abstract】 In this paper, the compatibility of dimethyl ether(DME) with other fuels, lubricity additives and polymers was studied by means of solubility parameter theory. The thermodynamic mechanism of the compatibility of DME with other fuels and materials was analysed. Meanwhile, two methods were introduced to effectively compute the soluble parameter of liquids and polymers respectively. The solubility parameter of saturated DME liquid at ambient temperature (20 ) was calculated to be 15.01(MPa)1/2 in this study. By means of this method, the solubility of DME with other fuels like alcohols, vegetable oils and diesel fuel could be predicted, and had a good agreement with the experimental results. The study result showed that light diesel, long-chain alcohols and fatty acids with chain length of C15C22 could be soluble in DME under ambient temperature and the late two types were proven to be the good lubricant additives for DME engine. For the same chain length, fatty acids showed better solubility in DME than alcohols. Some polymers such as Nitrile Rubber (NBR), Polystyrene(PS) and Polytetrofluoroethy (PTFE) could well meet the application requirement of DME engine due to their good features of DME resistance.
