【Abstract】 In this paper, the author expounds that the English writing in the CET-4 is universally poor after correcting the composition, and explains the different modes of the information structure inside the sentence, between the sentences and paragraphs, and exempilifies the similarity and difference of the information structure between English and Chinese.
