一种改进的零树编码算法

【摘要】 在SPIHT算法的基础上进行改进,提出了一种改进的新算法,该算法修改了分割排序策略、加入了幅值精细编码等措施在一定程度上克服SPIHT图像编码算法的不足,提高了编码速度,减少了内存的消耗,提高了图象复原的质量,是一种有效的图象压缩方法。

【Abstract】 An improved image coding algorithm based on SPIHT algorithm is presented. It revises the SPIHT’s sorting strategy. The improved algorithm enhances the coding speed, induces the memory and improves the recovery image quality, so the improved algorithm is an efficient methode for image coding.
