用Ca-CaCl2熔盐脱除金属钇中氧的研究
Study on Removal of Oxygen in Yttrium by Ca-CaCl2 Fused-salt
【摘要】 在950℃,利用溶解于CaCl2中的化学活性钙与氧的反应,除去钇中的氧,并对其氧含量进行了检测,从而得到低氧金属钇。熔融的CaCl2可降低副产品CaO的活度,从而有利于反应的进行。块状的钇被脱氧后最低氧含量达到质量分数0.17%,用钽坩埚经过七天的时间,使氧的去除率达到了73%。
【Abstract】 Removal of oxygen in yttrium by reaction with chemically active calcium dissolved in CaCl2 was examined between at 950℃ with the purpose of obtaining low-oxygen yttrium. CaCl2 was used as a flux to facilitate the reaction by decreasing the activity of the by-product CaO. Pieces of yttrium were deoxidized to 0.17 wt% oxygen at lowest. Removal ratio of oxygen reached 73% by use of tantaium crucible for seven days.
