含3nm硅溶胶的苯丙杂化乳液的制备与性能研究

【摘要】 在单一乳化剂存在下 ,用原位分散聚合方法制备了含 3 nm硅溶胶的苯丙杂化乳液。通过 FTIR、粒径分析、ζ电位和流变性能测试 ,表征了杂化乳液中的杂化效应、微粒形态及乳液稳定性 ,并与分别由 3 nm和 1 0 nm硅溶胶与苯丙乳液直接共混形成的杂化乳液进行了比较。与直接共混的杂化乳液成膜后的力学性能相比 ,由原位分散聚合形成的 3 nm硅溶胶杂化乳液成膜后 ,显示出较高的拉伸强度、拉伸模量和断裂伸长率。

【Abstract】 The hybrid emulsion composed of 3nm silica sol and styrene (St)/butyl methacrylate (BA)/methyl methacrylate (MMA)/methacrylic acid (MAA) copolymer was prepared by in-situ emulsion polymerization only with OP-10 as emulsifier(R-X). Further more, other hybrid emulsion were prepared by direct mixing 3nm and 10nm silica sol with St/BA/MMA/MAA copolymer emulsion (M-3-X and M-10-X), respectively. The hybrid effects for these emulsions were characterized by FTIR. The particle morphologies and the stabilities of these hybrid systems were observed by means of the particle size analysis, as well as the measurements of ζpotential and rheology. The mechanical properties for their films were tested. The experimental results show that the particle size of R-X is smaller than those of M-3-X and M-10-X, and even smaller than that of St/BA/MMA/MAA copolymer emulsion, and the mechanical properties of R-X film enhance appreciably, as compared with those of M-3-X and M-10-X.
