【Abstract】 The chemical composition in the fruits of Panax ginseng comprisesginsenosides,polysaccharide,alkaloids,volatile oils,amino acids,inorganic elements and sterol. Comparatively comprehensive pharmacological effects are found in the fruits of Panax ginseng, which mainly contain functions such as bacteriostasis, reducing blood sugar,resisting shock, protecting cardiac muscle, preventing the failure of adrenocortical function,improving the ability of a rat′s study and memory, enhancing immunity and postponning senility.
