BESⅢ漂移室模型的宇宙线测试
Cosmic ray test of a prototype of the BESⅢ drift chamber
【摘要】 利用宇宙线并采用新设计的前置放大器测试了一个BESIII漂移室模型在He/C3H8(60/40)下的性能。模型在2200V工作高压下空间分辨达到100μm。这表明了BESIII漂移室的物理设计能满足其对空间分辨的要求,前置放大器的设计是成功的。为进一步检验BESIII漂移室物理设计需要对模型进行束流测试。
【Abstract】 <Abstrcat> The performance of a prototype of the BESⅢ drift chamber filled with He/C3H8(60/40) was measured with a new designed preamplifier using cosmic rays. A good spatial resolution of 100μm was obtained with the operating voltage of 2200V. The result indicates that the design of the BESⅢ drift chamber fulfills the spatial resolution requirement and the preamplifier works successfully. A beam test of the prototype is required to check the design of the BESⅢ drift chamber in detail and with more precision.
