【Abstract】 The development of electric power systems is accompanied by the increase of short-circuit current level result- ing serious affects on the electric power system safety. Superconductor Fault Current Limiters (SFCLs) can offer rapid and effective current limitation, and can break through the bottleneck of power system safety. SFCLs overcome the problem of short-circuit current effectively, which has puzzled the development of power system. The paper introduces working prin- ciples of different SFCLs, their research developments, and applications domestically and abroad.更多还原
