【Abstract】 Automobile airbag is an important application of technical textiles. Over more than half a century, it has shifted from a safety system for military use to a safety and protection system for civil automobile, with progress being made in many technological aspects. Foreign countries take the leading role in developing airbag, while China is keeping up in both research and application.
