蒙脱土对sPS/PET复合材料性能的影响

【摘要】 以蒙脱土(MMT)为增强剂、磺化间规聚苯乙烯锌盐(SsPS Zn)为增容剂来改性间规聚苯乙烯(sPS)/聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)复合材料,复合材料的综合力学性能和耐热性较未填充MMT时显著提高。当MMT用量为2份时,复合材料的冲击强度达到最大值14.7kJ/m2,约是纯sPS的3.5倍,约是未加入MMT时的1.5倍,而拉伸强度和弯曲强度同时也相应提高了约30MPa。材料发生较大形变的终止温度比未加入MMT时提高了20℃以上,形变量减小,起始粘流温度提高了10℃以上。动态热机械分析结果表明,加入MMT后复合材料的玻璃化转变温度提高。

【Abstract】 The syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS)/ polyethylene terephthalate (PET) composite was modified with montmorillonite(MMT) as reinforcing agent and zinc salt of sulfonated syndiotactic polystyrene ionomer as compatibilizer. The results showed that the mechanical properties and thermal resistance of the new composite was better than those of composite without MMT. When the content of MMT was 2 phr, the impact strength reached the maximum of 14.7 kJ/m2, which was about 3.5 times of that of pure sPS and was 1.5 times of that of alloy without MMT. The tensile strength and flexural strength increased about 30 MPa accordingly. TMA results showed that the terminated large deformation temperature of the composite increased over 20℃ compared with that of alloy without MMT and the deformation degree decreased. The initial flowing temperature increased over 10℃. DMA results showed that the glass transition temperature of the composite increased by adding MMT.
