【Abstract】 The biographical proses written by YUAN Mei have a high percentage in his miscellany and made great achievement. Some researchers thought it was the economic benefit that tempted YUAN Mei to creat them, but they neglected other factors which had great impacts on YUAN Mei′s creation . If we lay the economic factors aside and make a study of YUAN Mei′s individual factors, such as his standpoints on prose, his characters of making much account of fellings and his personal interests, we can find out that biography was one of the most favoured prose styles to YUAN Mei, and there is much necessity of its massive production.更多还原
