连代饲养、雌蜂日龄和交配方式对棉铃虫齿唇姬蜂后代性比的影响
Effects of Continuous Rearing, Female Adult Age and Mode of Mating on Sex Ratio of Campoletis chlorideae in the Laboratory
【摘要】 室内研究了棉铃虫齿唇姬蜂连代饲养、雌蜂日龄及交配方式对其后代性比的影响。结果表明 :( 1 )室内连代饲养中 ,一、二代雌雄性比分别为 1∶0 .85和 1∶0 .71 ;三代以后雄性个体所占的比例增加 ,至第五代时雌雄性比为 1∶1 .4 6。 ( 2 )不同日龄的雌蜂繁育的后代其性比有显著差异 ,随着日龄的增加 ,雄性后代的比例加大。其中 2日龄的后代雌蜂比率为 87.8% ,而6日龄的后代雌蜂比率为 4 8.5%。 ( 3)同一世代中 ,不同父母的雌雄个体交配以后 ,所繁育后代的雌蜂比例为 95.3% ;孤雌生殖后代的雄性与同一世代的雌性交配 ,所繁育后代的性比接近 1∶1 ;而未能交配的雌蜂其后代均为雄性。
【Abstract】 The effects of continuous rearing, age of female adults at the first mating and mode of mating on the sex ratio of Campoletis chlorideae Uchida were evaluated in the laboratory. In the first two generations following establishment in the laboratory, the female∶male ratios were 1∶0.85 and 1∶0.71, respectively. The percentage of male adults increased from the third generation, and the female∶male ratio was 1∶1.46 at the fifth generation. Moreover, the proportion of male offspring increased as the age of females at mating increased. When female wasps mated 2 d after emergence, 87.8% of their offspring were female, and when females mated 6 d after emergence, only 48.5% of their offspring were female. Sex ratio also varied with the source of the parents. When a female and a male from different parents mated, 95.3% of their offspring were females, when a female mated with a male produced parthenogenetically, approximately 50% of their offspring were female, and unmated females produced male progeny only. These results suggest that in the process of mass rearing of C. chlorideae, frequent recruitment of field-collected individuals into the stock culture, use of newly-emerged adults and avoidance of inbreeding may be necessary to ensure a high efficiency of production.
