【Abstract】 In this paper, a new kind of biocide for water treatment was prepared by using acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide as raw materials. The stability of storage of peracetic acid was investigated and sta-bili-zers such as 8 - hydroxyquinoline were selected for its storage. Biocidal effect and proper environment has also been tested. Culture bottle test was used to evaluate the performance of biocide. The effect of concentration, pH and action time on biocidal property was studied, which indicated that peracetic acid has the advantages of quick rate of sterilization and high efficiency of sterilization. Peracetic acid has a good prospect as a biocide for water treatment.更多还原
