【摘要】 论文分析了洋务学堂的主要办学特点 ,认为洋务学堂承担了起步中国早期教育现代化的历史任务 ,推动了传统教育向现代教育的逐步转换 ,启动了中国早期教育现代化的进程。它对中国现代教育的产生 ,对传统教育的动摇乃至逐步崩溃都有积极的作用。但是 ,由于自身的历史局限 ,洋务学堂对中国早期教育现代化的发展又有消极的影响更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the main characteristics of the Earliest Modern Government Schools in China and concludes that it takes on historical task for starting the Education Modernization of Early Period in China ,promoting the change from traditional education to modern education.It plays a positive role in the creation of modern education in China,in shaking the traditional education and even promotes its gradual collapse.But The Earliest Modern Government Schools in China also played negetive role for the development of Education Modernization of Early Period in China due to historial limitation in themselves.更多还原
