【Abstract】 The core of the poetry theories in chibong yusǒl by Yi Su-gwang is honoring the poetry of Tang Dynasty. Yi not only set a high value on the poetry of Tang Dynasty, but also affirmed the poetry of Tang Dynasty by making a comparison of the poetry of Tang Dynasty with the poetry of Song Dynasty and Korean poetry.
