【Abstract】 It is a great challenge to provide multicast to mobile hosts using Mobile IP for network routing support. In this paper, we firstly make some analysis and researches on the provision for handling multicast in the current Mobile IP specification, and analyze the problems when combining multicasting and mobility in the existing IP network, including comparing several mechanisms and analyzing their respective problems. At last we provide an improved architecture to support IP multicast for mobile hoses using Mobile IP, comparing it with the introduced mechanism.更多还原
