【Abstract】 The improve ment of population quality is related with constant progress and culture of society. Education degree is one of the most important indexes of population quality, expressing labor quality. Based on data materials of the fourth census in 1990 and the fifth in 2000,the paper analyzes the education degree of employing population by sex and career in general level by qualitative method and quantitative method.
