【Abstract】 Power Builder is an excellent tool for exploiting database. But Power Builder does not provide TCP communicating control. So. it’s difficult to realize TCP communication in Power Builder. This article discusses how to realize TCP communication in Power Builder, The article emphasizes these faces: TCP programming principle, asynchronous selective mechanism for Windows Sockets,now to utilize asynchronous selective mechanism for constructing exterior dynamic link libraries, and cooperating with Power Builder to complete TCP communication.
