【Abstract】 Peasant-workers contribute much to the development of Chinese economy and society .At present, they havebecome the important part of Chinese industrial workers. But in the binary social structure of city and country based on thesystem of registered permanent residence, peasant-workers have suffered various discrimination and unequal treatment afterentering cities. To solve peasant-worker problems thoroughly, government must reform the current system of registeredpermanent residence, protect their benefit in peasant work employment, social security and their children studying at school andso on.
