【Abstract】 An enhanced general-purpose timer(EGPT)is presented. In addition to the function of a universal timer’s function,the device can generate interrupt request and control the output signal,and it can selectively capture the time at which an external event occurs. It also provides a modulus latch to generate interrupt request for frequent timing outputs. The design was used in a base-band chip for 2.5-generation mobile phones,which was implemented in 0.18 μm process.更多还原
