【Abstract】 The characteristics of emulsion polymerization and microemulsion polymerization were introduced. The preparations of micro - latexes from latex - shearing and microemulsion polymerization were reviewed. The influence of reaction temperature, emulsifier and initiator on the preparation of micro - latexes was discussed with emphasis.
