【Abstract】 This paper summarizes the advances in the research on genetic and gene mapping of the photoperiod(temperature)-sensitive genic male sterile (PTGMS) gene in rice. The fitness of typical genetic method on studying the sterility of PTGMS in rice, the effects of genetic background and environment on the fertility expression, the selection of fertility index in the genetic research and the gene mapping method of PTGMS in rice in particularly are discussed, also some opinion concerning the genetics and gene mapping of PTGMS in rice is put forward.更多还原
