【Abstract】 TRIZ is the English way of writing the Russian abbreviation for "Theory of Inventive Problem Solving", and becoming the focus of research in development countries. The history and progress of TRIZ are presented. The original principle and methodology of TRIZ are researched. Aimed at the shortages of TRIZ, the development of TRIZ is presented. The innovative conceptual design of a heat exchanger indicates that the system can make the engineers for opening up the thinking space, breaking the thinking inertia, and helping them putting forward innovation design concepts. This system also can offer the scientific instructions for the mechanical product innovation design domain.更多还原
